1. Slip the wall end brackets on to the ends of the tube and measure the distance between the bracket mounting holes from one end to the other.
2. Mark on the mounting surface where the brackets will be installed. You may need to shift the whole unit 1” toward the motor/crank end in order to center the fabric over the window opening.
3. Drill holes for the brackets. Use a ¼” bit.
4. Install the brackets using the 3/8” X 3” lag bolts (9/16” socket).
5. Install a center support if needed in the center of the tube, and on a seam (16’ & over).
6. Slide the gear (if crank operated) onto the gudgeon with the square pin.
7. Slide the awning into the idler bracket (the one with the round bushing).
8. Push the awning into position on the crank/motor side and fasten the crank/motor mechanism to the bracket.
9. Determine where the arms will be mounted and drill for the arm (5/32” bit). Make sure both sides are level.
10. Fasten the arms with two 5/16” X 3” lags using a 7/16” socket.
11. Crank the awning completely down.
12. Attach the arms to the front bar in the down position using a 13mm socket or wrench. Do not tighten all the way.
13. Crank the awning completely up.
14. Adjust the arm so they are straight up and down on the front bar. Then secure the nuts.
15. Lower awning to 90 degrees and make sure front bar is level.
16. Run awning up and down to make sure fabric is not walking.
Clean unit and fabric if needed.
